Ahh~ re-watching Ally McBeal sure brings back many memories. Remember the dancing baby? At first he pisses Ally off because it's a reminder that her biological click is ticking away.

You gotta love John Cage, my favourite character from Ally McBeal.
Apart from being an excellient litigator, what I like is his strangeness. He even has a remote control to flush toilets so that he can have a clean bowl (lol)

I also like Robert Downy Jr. & Jon Bon Jovi, who'd guest-star in the show.
Ooh lala~

Anyway, back to the title: I AM ANGRY!!!

1) I've said this repeatedly to my friends and am going to say it here for the record: Post Offices are legal daylight robbers! Seriously, I just spent $17 on postage, which is one-third of the cost of the stuff I have in the parcel. But what I'm really angry about is the customer service. I stood and placed my parcel at the counter for a full 10 minutes and no one acknowledged my presence. The woman behind the counter was busy and I let her finished whatever she was doing but she did not even look up at all! After she was done, she told her colleague that she's off for lunch... at 11AM?!

2) I was at The Face Shop - the store was empty and there were 2 staff at the back laughing away. I quickly grabbed what I wanted and headed for the counter for purchase. Again, no one acknowledged my presence and I had to walk to the back to show myself. I said a polite "Excuse Me" and the staff who served me was utterly rude! Not only did she not smile, she did not even bother to put my purchases in a bag!

No wonder the service standard have gone south! I have been in the sales line and I know full well how to treat customers, whether they buy or not doesn't matter. If I hadn't been in a rush home to take care of Milo, I would have asked to speak to their managers at TFS & SP.

On second thoughts, I have their names in the receipts so I'll write letters of complaint later.

I had intended to bring Milo out for his maiden walk but he keeps eating the dirty stuff on the floor! Deciding he was still too young, this pup is grounded until further notice.

  • Aww... I used to love watching Ally McBeal!!! Watching your clip brings back memories :)

I know what you mean!!! I sent three packages out yesterday and I almost choked at the price. Henceforth, do we agree that every postal system in the world charge exorbitantly?

    Milo is adorable!!!

  • Yes, I agree! We should open our own postage service, we'll make millions in no time :D

Milo is getting too dependent though, which is bad.

  • Yea... I got so scared off by the prices of parcels that I checked the website first b4 letting myself get ripped off by post centre. I demanded for shipment by sea & tracking and I was very satisfied cause it is much cheaper than air and it reaches my overseas pals pretty fast!! I stopped listening to their story that sending anything by sea takes a donkey month plus. I hate poor service too, it can ruin my mood.. hahaha
  • Actually I was prepared to opt for sea, checked that it might 6-8 weeks?!

Anyway, the stupid CSO didn't even ask by sea or air! And I was already put off by their service that I paid to get out of there!

  • yea, i totally understand. my parcel by sea reached within 10 days! and i was very specific with my demands. Otherwise they would have just picked the most expensive method for me all the time. super irritating...
  • OMG! If only we had exchanged this conversation earlier... TwT

  • How old is your pup? My BF's pup is about 6-7 months and we kind of let her roam around and do her thing. The only problem she has is that when she's with me and my BF, she understands commands and listens, but with other people she gets spoiled and she starts to act up - bad. Is Milo always with you?

That's horrible! $17 for shipping? That sounds close to Priority shipping here with is around $20. I usually pay $6-$10 depending how heavy the package is. That's horrible you were ignored at the P.O as well as TFS! I'd be so pissed and told the lady off! I hope you write those letters, because there's no reason to be treated like that at all.
  • Milo's turning 3 months on the 1st :) He's always with me, still mischievous and seems to think we're playing with him when we're actually angry. He doesn't create chaos...yet

Yup, $17 with no tracking, no anything! I'm more pissed with the service than the postage, trust me. Seriously, I don't pay money to be treated with attitude.
