Got all excited at the supermarket for nothing...


My entire evening was spent on finishing my novel.
Walter Tevis got me hooked the moment I start to read.
It's not about chess that got me hooked.
Besides my own chest, I know nothing about chess! (lol)

His intense following of the lead character, Beth Harmon, kept me reading on☆

After 3 lethargic days, I started to embrace back the coffee-drinking me.
Guilty as charged m(_ _)m ... but at least I won't feel tired all the time☆

Besides, I only drink a cup in the morning, unless I stopped by Starbucks later in the afternoon.
For the rest of the day, I only drink warm water though I occasionally pamper myself with Red Pearl Milk Tea・・・ ( 　＾ω＾)

经过很疲倦的3天，我从新爱上喝咖啡的自己.
宣判自己罪名成立 m(_ _)m ... 不过至少我不会喊累哦☆

况且，我只是早上喝一杯而已，除非下午会路过Starbucks.
之后呢，我只喝温开水，但偶尔会宠宠自己，买杯珍珠奶茶来喝・・・ ( 　＾ω＾)

Yesterday I spent 2 hours having lunch at Swensen's with my best friend.
After a 10min discussion, we ordered:

- BBQ Half Chicken
We couldn't decide between this & Fish N Chips.
When our order arrived, there was no fries as depicted in the picture on the menu.
We asked the waiter and he simply replied that it's only a picture. (ノ><)ノ
Also, the BBQ sauce tasted like tomato ketchup! (;￢_￢)

My friend said "Would you like to do the honours?" as I picked up my fork & knife to cut the chicken into 2 pieces.
I felt like we are eating a Christmas meal! b(⌒o⌒)d

- Prawn Fritters
I initially wanted french fries but my friend pointed out there's fries in our chicken order. (Of course, we found out that we got cheated)
We couldn't taste any prawn at all! I guess we got cheated again! p(`O´*)

- Banana Spilt
This is the only traditional order that we must have at every visit.
It's the first dish we had together out of school.
It's specially memorable☆

I ordered 2 extra scoops of vanilla & mango ice cream. Σ(ﾟー^*)


昨天我跟我的好友在Swensen's吃了2个钟头的午餐.
经过了10分钟的讨论,我们点了:

- BBQ Half Chicken BBQ半只鸡
我们很久都无法决定要点这道菜，或是Fish N Chips.
上菜的时候,我们发现没有署条耶~
菜单上的照片里明明有署条啊~~
问了服务生,他竟然说那只是张图片. (ノ><)ノ
还有, BBQ浆的味道怎么跟番茄酱一样呀! (;￢_￢)

当我拿起刀叉准备要把鸡肉切成2半时，我的朋友说了一句“这份荣誉交给你咯!”
感觉好像在吃圣诞大餐! 哈哈! b(⌒o⌒)d

- Prawn Fritters 炸虾
我原本想点薯条可是我的朋友指出我们刚点的鸡肉餐有数条了. (后来发现被骗了)
根本没有吃到什么虾呀! 我们又被骗了啦! p(`O´*)

- Banana Spilt 香蕉船
每次到访必点的点心．
这是我们在校园外吃的第一道菜哦．
特别有意义☆

我还另点了２球香草、芒果冰淇凌. Σ(ﾟー^*)

I always avoid bread whenever I can - it makes me gain weight easily.

But erm... these few days I've been eating bread...
No thanks to the delicious Strawberry Jam!
Hmm... Yummy~!! (*^o^*)

Hehee... I've run out of bread already!


对于面包，我一直能免则免　－　因为吃了会容易增肥.

不过... 这几天我一直在吃面包呢...
都是草莓果酱的错啦!!
嗯嗯... 好甜美哦~!!  (*^o^*)

嘻嘻... 面包已经吃完咯!
