I'd half-expected Michael to jump back and swim a lap or two to show how happy a fish he was.

My anger towards Stephenie Meyer increases every minute.
And those so-called reviews who kept commenting on the backlash instead of the story.
I don't think the reviewers actually read "Breaking Dawn," or even the first 3 books.

Otherwise they would have notice the inconsistencies and contradictions.
Not to mention the bad grammar and numerous typos.

And she blames her fans & critics, acting like it's our fault that her book FAILED.
These are constructive criticisms.

What's with the sudden change of term 'werewolves' to 'shape-shifters'?
Charlie eating pancakes, only to be eating from a bowl of cereal on the next page?
And vampires able to procreate when she emphasized earlier that there's ONLY VENOM in their bodies?

I've never been so frustrated with an author before. (´・ω・)ﾉ
It's disappointing, really.

EPIC FAILURE!

我对Stephenie Meyer的怒气不断的在上升.
为杂志写评语的人似乎都只在专著这读者对书本的反应.
看了那么多，我敢说他们根本没有阅读该书，甚至是前面的3本.

否则，他们怎么看不出内容那么多的错别字，用错的语法还有跟前3本里的故事不一致和矛盾.

她指责书迷，说一切都是我们的错.
这些都是建设性的批评，怎么能不放在眼里呢?
反过来说我们不了解她的故事和人物.

我从来没对任何的作者那么愤怒过. (´・ω・)ﾉ
真的很令人失望.

彻底的失败!

I mentioned about reading bad reviews about Breaking Dawn over at Amazon(dot)com.

To be honest, my opinions on the book are pretty mixed, now that I've finished reading. The flow of the story is very Stephenie Meyer but the context is a far cry from the first 3 books.

I agree that as an author you could deviate away from the Vampire mythology. But her constant contradiction is a letdown.

Saying that when a vampire is created, his/her body is frozen in time. No hair or nail growth. The female no long ovulates, and the male, well, it's understood that he cannot procreate.

Sure, we have heard of the Incubus, an energy vampire who preys on women to produce their mutant offspring. But Edward Cullen, the dazzling Prince Charming from the Twilight series is not an incubus. So how could he impregnate Bella, especially when his human body stops functioning?!

When Bella gave birth to a Dhampir, an offspring of a vampire father and a human mother. By the way, the author addresses the child as an 'Immortal Child' instead. (Another attempt to deviate from the mythology?)

The Volturi are an arrogant bunch of self-proclaimed police force who tries to keep their secret from the human race.

When they found out about it, the Cullens panic and rush to find witnesses from all around the world for help. The big showdown I had expected turned out into several pages of *gasp* conversation!

The backlash from other disappointed Twilight fans are getting worst. I understand why. I'm not even rushing to go for a second read, like the first 3 books.

I was watching the Men's 400m Individual Medley this morning. No surprise that Michael Phelps got gold. The narrator made me laugh when he said "Thank God someone wore other than black(pants) this morning."

The weather have been unbearably hot these past few days.
Even after taking showers 4-5 times, it doesn't help cooling me down (≧o≦)

I managed to finish reading "Breaking Dawn" in the evening.
Took a nap in the afternoon, otherwise I would have accomplished my 'mission' much earlier.

Thank heavens that Stephenie Meyer did not disappoint me one bit.
(Though I still can't get over Jacob's imprinting on Nessie!)

Bella finally married Edward, got pregnant on her honeymoon, gave birth to an adorable female Dhampir a month later.  She eventually became a vampire with an extremely powerful gift too.

Happily Ever After.

Amazon(dot)com is currently selling this device - The Kindle
It can store up to 200 books titles, which is really convenient.
It is tempting, but I still prefer to buy & read books the traditional way (lol)

One major down point is that it doesn't support PDF files. Yet.
Also, purchasing of the device does not include a memory card. (￣‥￣)

I wish I have a portable device to bring my PDF files around... (´・ω・)ﾉ

傍晚的时候终于把《Breaking Dawn》看完了哟!
下午睡了午觉，要不然早就读完了，呵呵.

感谢Stephenie Meyer没有令我失望.

Bella嫁给了Edward, 度蜜月的时候怀孕, 一个月后生了半僵尸半人类的可爱女儿.
她也如尝所愿, 变成了非常厉害的僵尸哦.

故事有个完美的结局.

可以存储200多本书，可说是非常方便.
蛮诱人的啦, 不过我还是比较以传统的方式购买、阅读书籍 (笑)

一个重大的缺点就是，这仪器不支持PDF档案. 暂时还不行.
而且，购买的时候不包括记忆卡呢! (￣‥￣)

真希望能拥有个可以随行带着我的PDF档案的仪器噢... (´・ω・)ﾉ

I bought 2 pair of shoes of the same design.
They are really comfortable;
I could walk for hours without my feet complaining for me to take a break☆

Look at these beauty products I bought yesterday~.
Exfoliating and pampering your skin is IMPORTANT!
And if I'm gonna continue to imagine myself as Snow White,
I'll have to protect my skin from the sunlight!! σ(^。^;

I'm taking a break from reading,
trying not to finish the book so quickly like what I did with the first 3 books.

The situation this time is a far cry from "Deathly Hallows."
When I got my copy of the last Harry Potter book, I wanted to find out the ending quickly and how my fave characters will end up.

I was astonished to see so many poor reviews & disappointments at Amazon(dot)com.
Is "Breaking Dawn" really that bad?
There were spoilers in the reviews so I didn't dare to read too much.

Up to where I was reading, the story kind of went off-course.
The plot was predictable, and erm... (´･ω･`)

I don't know, it didn't lived up to its hype I was hoping for.
Maybe I was too distracted by "The Dark Knight," the soundtrack and Christian Bale (lol)

Oh well, I'm gonna get some egg tarts and continue with my reading~.

当我收到哈里波特最后一本书的时候，我真想快点抵达终点.
想知道结局会是怎么样... 喜欢的人物有没有受伤等等...

我刚刚在Amazon.com的网站看到很多不好、失望的评语.
评语里头有很多我在书里还没读到的地方，所以不敢看太多.
《Breaking Dawn》真的有那么糟吗?

我还没看完，不过我觉得故事有点走位耶.
而且内容容易猜得到, 唔... (´･ω･`)

不知道啦, 似乎比哈里波特逊了一点.
有可能最近被《The Dark Knight》的电影，原声带和Christian Bale干扰了吧 (笑)

好了，我要一边吃蛋塔一边继续阅读咯!
