Bought a bunch of eye masks (collagen, firming, dark circles treatment, sparkling lift) and a Nivea facial mask for hydration, though I don't need it at the moment.

To be honest, I'm kinda lazy to do eye masks because you'll have to lie down with your eyes closed to enjoy the treatment. Thus, you can't do anything else, unless with the facial ones which can't strap you to the bed for 20 whole minutes (lol)

As a result, I have plenty of eye masks, begging for me to use them and get it over with. Oops! (Dee, expect them in your next love pack♥)

Earlier, I managed to get to the Post Office few seconds before they shut the door, hence I was the last customer of the day. (Lane, I've seen you with similar shades so, add this to your collection. I used a brush and tried it on, I looked like I've been poisoned!!)

My current cleansing oil is almost used up, so decided to try a different brand. I've read many rave reviews about Mandom Cleansing Express range and decided to pick Essence Conc. Wash. It is a 3-in-1 product: Light Makeup Remover + Cleaner + Moisturiser.

This rich beauty essence makes up of 1/3 of wash content, providing nourishment for the skin while cleansing it thoroughly. The added benefit of Royal Jelly leaves my skin smooth & moisturised, making the wash a one step skincare regime.

Although this is water-based, it removed my waterproof foundation pretty well, and doesn't strip off my natural skin moisture. It works better than my usual oil cleanser, though it took a longer time to lather up the foam. My skin is still smooth an hour after cleansing, without even applying moisturiser.



This is a re-visit to my Going Bananas post. I applied one layer of yellow polish + another from the Lancome dupe from Muji. The gold color added that extra kick, perfect for the Holidays☆

You must wonder why I look so fed-up? I was inspired by YSL 2009 Fall Collection but my crappy camera refused to cooperate!

Gosh, I've been playing Santa but don't see my own Father Claus anywhere in sight... (´･ω･`)

What's so good? It refines pores & firms skin, smoothens fine lines & wrinkles, lightens skin & pigmentation, and removes blackheads & helps reduce pimples!

What annoys me about the 'new and improved formula' is that peeling off the mask isn't as easy peasy as the original product.

I was unable to get MAC Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask so had to settle for the Volcanic Ash Self-Heating Mask by The Face Shop.
Apparently it instantly heats up on contact with skin to open up and deep cleanse pores and the Volcanic Ash powder absorbs excess oil and gently removes pore clogging debris. Volcanic ash is fine porous particles of natural minerals formed during volcanic eruptions. 

Not sure about you ladies, but normally I apply mask after cleansing & exfoliating, followed by toning & moisturizer. But the instruction is to use this mask after toner. I will try it out tonight and review later☆

Of course, never forget to pamper yourself with treats! This BBQ-flavored chips are my favorite *mouth watering*
Now, I've seen this Japanese commercial on TV for months and finally decided to get it today since they are on sale (lol)  

Seriously, they are so freakin' salty! I will never buy it again! XP

Milo's been naughty yesterday evening, going bonkers and scratched my thighs and biting my skirt. Today he continued his rabid behavior and I had to put him under lockdown. Look at him sulking away (lol)

Recently I've received many emails asking the same question "What's in your makeup bag?" To be honest, I never know so many girls are so interested in the stuff I bring out with me☆

Innisfree Pouch - A simple design and spacious enough to fit in all my necessary cosmetics. I used to carry this flamboyant rainbow pouch that came free with the Ralph Lauren Cool Perfume. Not the kind of person who likes to wear perfume, but I'd gotten this to impress someone, who wasn't even worth the effort.

Choute Four-Art Blusher - Don't remember where or when I'd gotten this but this Korean baked blusher is a darling♥ The pigment alone is enough to blush my cheeks but sometimes for a more flushed look, I use this as a highlighter on top of my regular blusher & also to contour my face. Just look at the side shot in my banner, see how rosy my cheeks are, only using the blusher?

Tissues - Never, ever leave home without these! You will need them when you unexpectedly sneeze, or to wipe your mouth after a meal. If I should need to eat anything with my hands, wet tissues are my life Saviour. Not sure if most of you agree but the soap at fast food restaurants often gives off an unpleasant smell that makes me gag!

Accessories - Due to my uncontrollable yawning, my eyeliner & mascara tend to smudge, so Q-tips always come in handy. I rarely yawn as much at home, but my friend Lane reckons it's due to the air-conditioning in the subway. Eating outdoors always have this situation where the wind blows in your face and then your hair gets blown in your mouth. So carry a rubber band & pins to keep your hair in place.

Lip Service - Due to the humid weather, my lips are often dry so a good lip balm is essential. I have used different brands but Juliet Hewett's seemed to have answer my prayer. If you want to try it, I'm giving away 3 of these fabulous camellia balm! To save the hassle of adding weight & difficulty to navigate around my bag, I always bring a tinted lip gloss.

Touch-Up - Thanks to my long-lasting foundation, I rarely need to touch up my makeup. But what if I get caught in the rain or sweating too much? My current HG loose powder from Muji is light, silky and gives me that radiant glow, thanks to the pearl content☆ I only use my Essence of Beauty powder brush as it doesn't pick up too much excess. It's been exactly a month and I still can't bear to use the velour puff. Sometimes I'd walk into the store just to give it a squeeze (lol)

I've always find Prevage's Night Cream to be extremely thick and takes a long time to sink into my skin. So last night I mixed in a bit of pearl powder and it seemed to absorb the excess oiliness from my face. Dee, try it since I've given you a huge pack (lol)

This 'dual' shot of Milo was taken over the weekend. He kept walking in and out of my room and I was too busy to notice. My baby gave me that cute watery look and snoozed off soon after.  He's waiting to be fed yet I was busy snapping pictures of His Highness. Oops!

Last night as he laid on my lap -the part where he goes to sleep and then I carry him back to his crate for the night-, I GASPED!

As I was walking around my home trying to get things done, naturally Milo would follow me from room to room. When he finally decided that enough is enough, he simply settled at my doorway. He probably figured it's better to stay there since he'll know when I leave the room.

The first shot reminded me too much of the delicious Suckling Pig dish that you would often find in Chinese restaurants. To be honest, it's been many years since I last ate it... ｡･ﾟ(´□｀)ﾟ･｡ But I'll never forget the crispness, especially the skin! *drools*

St.Ives Hydroxy Masque (Peel Off)
Gentle Alpha Hydroxy. Removes impurities and gently exfoliates for smooth visibly healthy skin.

First of all, this is one messy masque! The texture is of a gooey gel that glides out of the pack the moment you open the lid. 
Here's the fun part: Just like playing with glue, spread a thin layer and wait for it to dry completely, gently peel away and rinse off any residue.

My skin feels soft & rejuvenated but other than that, I don't see any dead surface cells & impurities being lifted when I looked at the peeled masque. It has a sweet scent of green apples but alas, this product has been discontinued. Thankfully, it takes a long time to finish, and I still have 85% left.

St. Ives Apricot Scrub - Blemish & Blackhead Control
An oil-free gentle exfoliant that cleans pores and contains 2% Salicylic Acid that treats acne and stop breakouts before they occur.

I simply love walnut shell powder in my exfoliants because they are not harsh on my skin, yet remove surface dead skin cells effectively. Another plus point is that it doesn't strip off natural oil & moisture while scrubbing my face. I know some users feel that the beads are too rough, but the trick is to add sufficient amount of water or mix in together with your cleanser.

The apricot scent is absolute divine and I'm already on my second pack, using it twice a week.

St. Ives Mineral Clay Firming Mask
Deep cleaning oil-free mask with kaolin clay that visibly firms and tightens, improving skin's elasticity for smooth & healthy skin.

The mineral clay effectively soaks up the excess oil, hence but this might not be suitable for those with dry skin. The mask acts like an alarm, my face starts to itch when it is time to wash off. But it leaves my skin firmer and cleaner.

However I scare my mom everytime I uses this mask because it's green which slightly reminds you of Jim Carrey in "The Mask" (lol)

St. Ives Cucumber & Elastin Eye Stress Gel
Soothes instantly to minimize the efects of stress like lines, puffiness, and shadows.

This is my least favorite product from this brand. I've been using it for more than a year and it does nothing as described on the pack.
I see absolutely no difference on my eye bags at all!

So why continue using it? Well, it is very hydrating and prevents my concealor to cake up when I apply it under my eyes.

The other day I noticed Milo's natural eyeliners. It's so unfair, right? Why would dogs need that catdog-eye effect for? (lol)

Unless I'm about to wash my face, I never let him lick me except my feet. It's his way of showing his affection but I can't risk having breakouts. Here's the bad news: Milo's started to shed and now I have to be extra careful, leading me to wash my hands every now and then.
